This Community Health Center seeks a Family Medicine Physician to care for the medically underserved while promoting the general health of one of the fastest growing counties in the United States.

This Community Health Center has been serving the needs of a growing population since 1946.  We provide comprehensive public health programs, behavioral health resources, and primary health care and dental facilities located in Joliet, Bolingbrook, and Monee.

Job Summary
Provides a full scope of primary and preventative health care services to all adults and children to meet the health care needs of clinic patients. Direct clinical patient care activities to equal 95% and administrative activities to equal 5%. Scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, consisting of three days from 8:00am – 4:00pm, one day from 7:30am – 6:00pm, and one day from 8:00am – 12:00pm.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians or Board-eligible.
  • Experience prescribing suboxone.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance.
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.

DESIRED

  • Bilingual in Spanish. Full scope practice (pediatrics-geriatrics).
