Responsibilities

  • Provides program development and clinical oversight of staff and interns, including hiring and training.
  • Maintains a caseload of Substance Use Disorder and Behavioral Health patients.
  • Develops, plans and oversees the management of program growth and sustainability.
  • Works with Chief Director of Social Services and other management staff to develop new programs including proposal writing, budget development and oversight, implement program enhancements, and recommend procedural changes to improve the service delivery system.
  • Develops and writes Policies and Procedures along with Best Practice Protocols for assigned programs for Leadership, CQI, and Board of Directors approval as required.
  • Completes renewal application materials and required reports for assigned programs as requested.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement. Implements changes to improve efficiency, workflow and productivity as identified by process improvement work groups. Serves as requested process improvement work groups.
  • Represents FQHC on Coalitions, Advisory Groups, Steering Committees, and other local organized groups as assigned, representing behavioral health services for improved systems of care and continuity of care.
  • Conducts public education, presentations and training sessions to the community at large, upon request.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or other related human service field.
  • Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist.
  • 3-5 years counseling experience.
  • 3-5 years of program development, management and supervision experience.
  • Experience within an FQHC and Substance Use Disorder treatment preferred.

Starting salary – $78,320-$83,090 with an increase upon successful completion of new hire probationary period. Compensation may be negotiable and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
