Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Women’s Health Services: Provide high-quality, patient-centered OB-GYN care, including prenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, gynecologic exams, and preventive care.
- Diagnostic Excellence: Perform thorough assessments, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and imaging, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for complex and common health conditions.
- Collaborative Care: Work in partnership with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to care team members.
- Community Engagement: Participate in outreach initiatives to educate and empower women on their health. Advocate for the well-being of underserved populations. Continuity of Care: Ensure access to continuous care by providing hospital-based OB coverage and after-hours on-call services on a rotational basis.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to evidence-based practice by engaging in peer reviews, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives. Evaluate and enhance clinical approaches to improve patient outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Adhere to all state, federal, and organizational policies and guidelines.
