Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide ongoing comprehensive primary care to our patients. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and high-quality primary care services to patients
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Partner with hospitals close to our health centers to offer our patients imaging and specialty care
- Participate in education, leadership, research, and advocacy opportunities
- Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of the Medical Department and the organization
- Support and contribute to the growth and development of the healthcare organization

Education and Experience
- M.D. or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine or another approved specialty.
- Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon
- Current and valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
- Eligible for, or maintenance of, hospital privileges at affiliated hospitals
- Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs.
- COVID-19 vaccine documentation is required for all employees.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.
- Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
- Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
- Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
- Experience in working with a diverse population base preferred.
- Ability to appropriately handle confrontation and conflict.
- Ability to work independently and to seek consultation as necessary.
- Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a high stress/fast paced/high work volume environment.
