This Community Health Center seeks an LCSW who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the health of a community in need
From humble beginnings in storefront clinics to the present day, the Community Health Center serves thousands of agricultural workers and rural residents
The LCSW will professionally apply social work methods and theory to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of psychosocial dysfunction, impairment, or disability, including mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, especially related to substance-use disorder.
This position is for 16 hours per week.
All of this FQHC's location sites are currently seeking part-time LCSW.
Job Requirements
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for all ages
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Offer crisis intervention and support
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records
- Educate clients and families about mental health and coping strategies
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights
- Coordinate with community resources and services
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- English/Spanish required
- 3-5 years of experience required
