We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist within the Community Health Center. Being an FQHC, we provide affordable, safety-net dentistry services to Illinoisans facing barriers receiving to oral health care.
Founded in 1992, this CHC is dedicated to providing services which unite the ideals of prevention, wellness, and disease management; resulting in enhanced physical and mental well-being for the community members we serve. In 2019, we served over 4,000 patients through medical, dental, and behavioral health visits.
Position is 35 hours/week (full time).
No call coverage. No weekends or holiday hours.
Job Requirements
Certificate or diploma from a school of dental hygiene approved by the Department of Professional Regulation.
Current license to practice as a dental hygienist in the State of Illinois.
Minimum of two years of dental hygiene experience in a dental practice.
Customer-focused and service-minded.
Organized and detailed-oriented.
Fantastic communication skills
Able to maintain confidentiality
Proficient with Microsoft Office and usage of office equipment
Schedule flexibility to work special clinics as needed
Must show evidence of personal professional liability insurance coverage
